The new Policy Council got down to business at their November meeting with a training session led by Executive Director, Darrell Edwards. PC members were given packages containing all the information about KCI to help them understand the working of the agency. It also marked the first use of our new "Smart Board" for training purposes.

Kids Central, Inc. is governed
by two groups: the Board of Directors and Parent Policy Council.
The Policy Council is comprised of twenty-four (24) members. Fifty-one
(51) percent of the Policy Council must be comprised of current Head
Start parents. The remaining membership is comprised of community
representatives.
The Policy Council meets on the second Wednesday
of each month.
