The annual KCI Award recipients  for 2009-2010 were announced at a joint Policy Council and Board of Directors meeting for June. The awards were presented to individuals in different areas of service to Kids Central Inc.

KCI  2009-2010 Award Winners Announced

As a result of Kids Central's  recent expansion of our Early Head Start Program, we received a site visit from the regional Head Start Office in Philadelphia. Elizabeth Singely is the Head Start representative conducting the inspection.

"I am here to see how the EHS expansion has folded into the existing program," said Singely. "Some programs are adding EHS for the first time. I am beyond excited to see what is going on with this program," said Singely.  "The commitment and dedication is evident by Kids Central."  Since KCI has been running an EHS program for years, the expansion was a easy transition.

This is Singely's first visit to our program and we are proud to show off our program and dedicated staff. We thank her for the interest in our program and invite her to visit again soon.
