Beginning in June our Early Head Start Program implemented a new program
called “Baby Signs”. We were first introduced to the program at the
Virginia Head Start Association Conference that took place in
Fredricksburg.
Baby signs is a program that encourages communication using sign language in addition to the spoken word. The idea is that young children can often times understand and communicate a word before they have the language to produce the sounds needed to verbalize the word.
We are excited about providing our EHS children with another avenue to learn, grow and play.

Baby Signs implemented in Early Head Start
Our welcome to Kids Central Inc Pool Party in Wise on Tuesday was a big splash. Lots of children and their families showed up for treats and fun in the water.
